Courtney has been found

I am happy to report that we have found my sister and my nephew. They are both in good health. However, my sister has lost all of her things. Courtney was a full time student at Delgado. She also held a full time job. She has no school, no job, and nothing left of her house. She is so happy to be alive and so happy to know the rest of her family is safe. Courtney considers herself blessed. I wish I had her outlook. I'm so worried about her. If anyone comes across links for programs to help her out, please post them. I know there are many things available for her. We are just having trouble finding them.
I'll be okay. I am in the military and the paychecks keep coming regardless. (Salary has it's benefits!) I have renter's insurance on my things and full coverage on my car. Speaking of my car, it got mushed by the biggest tree I have ever seen. Poor Jetta. (tear) My biggest problem is I don't know how long the Coast Guard will allow me to stay here; taking care of my son and not working. I have no stability. I don't know where I'll be in a week. These feelings are minor compared to what others are facing. I know. I think that I am in denial. New Orleans is my home. I refuse to say, "was my home." As much as I complained about the crescent city, I still loved it. It's great to have wings, but you never want to lose your roots. I don't know how to feel or think. ~Anyway~~
Please keep Courtney in your prayers.
Ya'll Take Care,
Charissa
